RHYTON SUITES’ unique location at Grotta on Naxos, close to the Archaic temple of Apollo known as “Palatia” (Portara), brought to light settlement objects of the Late Bronze Age, a few diverse objects from the Early Bronze Age, the early historical times and the Roman period.
The space had habitation and/or workshop activity from the end of the Neolithic / beginning of the Early Cycladic period into the 12th century.
Among the objects found were the rhytons that inspired the property’s name, pendants and clay tableware.
